Clearfield Co., Drug Trafficker Arrested

kunselman

A 30-year-old Curwensville man, identified as Isaac Kunselman, faces felony charges after a joint investigation led to the seizure of 16 firearms.  According to Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday, the case unfolded on Monday, when state police and narcotics agents conducted a traffic stop in Houtzdale.  During the stop, investigators discovered the weapons—five of which lacked serial numbers—along with methamphetamine and tools specifically used to obliterate serial numbers.  Kunselman is facing charges that include felony possession of firearms with obliterated serial numbers, obstruction of justice, and DUI.  Kunselman was arraigned with bail set at $50,000 straight.  Attorney General Sunday emphasized that this investigation aimed to stop the trafficking of drugs and firearms, specifically targeting the creation of “ghost guns” used to evade law enforcement.
