An 18 year old Pennsylvania man linked to nihilistic violent extremism has been arrested for coercing a 13-year-old California girl into sexual acts and self-mutilation. Federal authorities have arrested Matthew Pysher of Bangor, Pennsylvania. He was taken into custody last week. Prosecutors allege that Pysher met the victim on a Discord server for individuals suffering from mental illness and groomed her from December of last year until his recent arrest. On February 20th he flew from Philadelphia to Los Angelas, met the girl near her home, took her to a motel, where law enforcement found them with a knife, razor blades and bloody tissues, with the victim reporting that Pysher repeatedly cut her. Pysher has been charged with travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct. Pysher faces a maximum of 30 years in federal prison if convicted.
