A Somerset County man identified as 59-year-old Theodore Popernack, was arrested in Boswell Borough on felony charges for allegedly possessing thousands of child pornography images after police found him hiding behind a shower curtain. Fifty-seven-year-old Richard Firm was also taken into custody and charged with third-degree felony harboring of a fugitive after police discovered he was hiding Popernack. Both individuals are currently held at the Somerset County Jail, with Popernack denied bail, and Firm assigned a $10,000 bond.
