Online registrations for tickets to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles have surpassed five million. That’s a new record. Since registration opened in January, people have signed up from all 50 states and 194 countries. One-point-five-million people signed up in the first 24 hours of registration, and an average of 100-thousand new registrations are coming in each day. Registering allows people to enter a random drawing for future ticket purchase time slots. The online portal will remain open through March 18th. Between March 31st and April 7th, participants will be notified via email if they have been assigned a purchase time slot. The first window for ticket purchases for people selected in the draw opens in April.
