John T. Crawford Camp #43, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is hosting the Kittanning Wall of Flags.  Their goal is to line the railing at the top of the Murtha Amphitheater with American Flags.  The flags are approximately 11.5 x 16.5 inches in size.  A “Wall of Flags” would be an impressive site and showcase to Visitors the pride Armstrong County takes in it’s Veterans Service.  Honorees do not need to be from Armstrong County, as this is available for all American Citizens.  For a $10.00 donation, you may have a flag displayed at the Amphitheater honoring your ancestor, family veteran, a fire fighter, police officer, E.M.S. responder, an educator that made a difference in your life or any other American you would like to honor.  In addition, each flag will have an attached card with the honoree’s name, and pertinent information.
