Seven Plead Guilty In Turnpike Robberies

Seven men are pleading guilty to taking part in a series of robberies along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  State Attorney General Dave Sunday says the group used “distraction-style” tactics to commit a series of “brazen robberies” at rest stops on the Turnpike in Somerset, Dauphin, and Westmoreland Counties in April 2023.  He noted they didn’t use weapons, and nobody was hurt.  Sunday said all seven will spend at least three months in prison followed by a period of parole supervision.
