Philadelphia has been named as one of five finalists to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention. The Democratic National Committee announced yesterday that the following cities are under consideration. Besides Philadelphia, the other cities included in the list are Atlanta, Georgia, Boston, Massachusetts, Chicago, Illinois, and Denver, Colorado. The last time Philadelphia hosted the event was in 2016. A final selection will be made later this year. The convention would run from August 7-10.
