Altoona Woman Charged With Attacking Parents While Under Influence

An Altoona woman identified as 27-year-old Jacqueline Lang, is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly attacking her parents with knives and a pizza cutter while under the influence of methamphetamine.  According to Altoona Police, officers responded to a residence on the 2300 block of 13th Avenue last Thursday where they discovered Lang outside the home.  She reportedly surrendered a bag of meth to a sergeant at the scene.  Her father told investigators that Lang became unexpectedly irate and began hitting him before escalating the confrontation by grabbing a kitchen knife and throwing it at him, shattering glass above a doorway.  Lang has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, and drug possession.  She has been placed in the Blair County Prison where bail has been set at $200,000.
