A 32-year-old New Paris man identified as Seth Shomo is facing dozens of felony charges following a nearly 4-year investigation into child exploitation and animal abuse. Pennsylvania State Police allege Shomo exchanged sexually graphic images of children with a known sex offender in Washington State. Investigators discovered numerous illicit images on Shomo’s devices, some of which he reportedly took himself. Additionally, authorities state Shomo admitted to sexually abusing his dog at a Bedford County hotel-an act that was allegedly filmed and shared online. Shomo is currently in the Bedford County Prison in lieu of $750.000 bail.
