Three Pennsylvania men’s college basketball teams are taking part in March Madness this year. Villanova, Penn, and Lehigh were announced Sunday as part of the field of 68 for this year’s tournament. Eight-seed Villanova will face nine-seed Utah State and 14-seed Penn is up against three-seed Illinois, while 16-seed Lehigh will get an early start to the Big Dance with a First Four matchup against fellow 16-seed Prairie View A-and-M on Wednesday. Two Pennsylvania men’s basketball programs have won the National Championship: Villanova and La Salle.
