Centre County PAWS successfully rescued 37 dogs in critical condition from a Centre County home on Friday, marking the largest emergency intake in the organization’s history. While 15 dogs were unfortunately found deceased on-site, the survivors are receiving medical care and have been placed into foster homes following an intensive, all-hands-on-deck effort. PAWS reportedly noted their biggest challenges are providing medical care, and getting some dogs settled into a new foster care environment.
