State Lawmakers Pass Bill To Raise Minimum Wage

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed legislation yesterday, to gradually raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2029, starting with an increase to $11 on Jan.1, 2027.  The bill passed with a 104-95 vote, and now moves to the Republican-controlled State Senate, where its future remains uncertain.
