Bipartisan Lawmakers To Unveil Bill To Reopen DHS

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers is unveiling legislation to reopen the Department of Homeland Security. Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick is part of the group announcing legislation that would reopen DHS while establishing new guardrails governing the conduct of ICE.  One reform under the legislation would include a ban on face masks, and new warrant requirements preceding arrests.  Congressman Fitzpatrick said they’re aiming to introduce the bill today.
