Sheetz Planning Expansion In Indiana State

A popular Altoona based chain is planning 100 locations in the state of Indiana.  Sheetz is planning a nearly one-billion dollar investment in stores in the Hoosier state over the next decade.  It means Indiana will soon be part of the heated Sheetz vs. Wawa rivalry.  Wawa announced its expansion to Indiana a few years ago, and opened its first stores there in 2025.  The new locations are expected to create over three-thousand jobs.  Sheetz says their new stores in the greater Indianapolis area will open next year.  Sheetz has been operating stores since 1952.
