The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily reopen Gate 28, also known as High Germany Road, at Raystown Lake, from April 25 through May 30 for the spring gobbler season. Due to lack of off-season maintenance, drivers are advised to travel at their own risk and exercise caution, as the route will be shared with hikers, bikers, and service vehicles. Temporary closures remain possible based on weather or project activity.
