MAY 3 – Marshall Stone: We start off May with our guest via phone, New Oxford-based singer, songwriter and recording artist Marshall Stone. We’ll discuss Marshall’s musical beginnings, his career, his live show and his music – including his latest album, called “Remember What You’re Looking For,” and we’ll hear songs from the album!
MAY 10 – More New Music: We stay caught up on new local and regional recordings that have arrived in recent days and weeks! We’ll debut new songs from the Jeremy Edge Project, Vinny Simparosa, Sweet Maple, the Winston 27’s, the Central PA Youth All Star Band and more!
MAY 17 – Summer Music Festivals Preview: Summer 2026 is already punctuated by a number of local and regional music festivals taking place…We’ll preview several of them, plus play music from musicians and bands taking parts in those events!
MAY 24 – Memorial Day Special: One of our most popular editions of the “Homegrown Rocker” each year, we celebrate Memorial Day with this special, where we take a trip down “Local Music Memory Lane,” remembering past bands and artists of the local and regional music scene! We’ll remember bands and artists from the 1960s through early 2000s by playing their music, plus also honoring area musicians we have lost along the way.
MAY 31 –Back to the Mailboxes: We’ll continue to check the show’s mailboxes and hear from more new local and regional music recordings that have arrived recently! New songs will again be the focus of this week’s program!
