A nostalgic chapter in downton State College announced last night on Facebook that Bubba’s Eggs, Steaks and Shakes has officially closed its doors at 131 South Garner Street due to staffing issues. The restaurant, which only had its grand opening last October, was the longtime home of the legendary Baby’s Burgers and Shakes. The owners, Bubba and Brianna Stroh, who previously operated the Daily Grind in Altoona, reportedly said closing the business was a difficult choice.
