For this week’s “Local Song of the Week,” we present another song from Altoona-based rock group The Jaded Lips. Taking a slightly milder twist, “Miss Sunflower” is a romantic ode inspired by somebody close to the band. The group introduced it in late spring, and regularly performs it at their live shows. The word is that the group will be introducing another new song and video shortly. Keep an ear open for the new song on the “Homegrown Rocker,” and keep an eye open for singer Miles Strong, bassist Hunter James and the rest of The Jaded Lips crew when they play on area stages!
