A report by the Altoona Mirror indicates that the high court will hear arguments in the case of Damien Green. Green is charged in the killing of Devon Pfirsching back in February of 2020. Three other suspects involved with Pfirschings death are currently serving long prison sentences after pleading guilty. The Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether to send the charges and trial to adult court, or keep them in juvenile court. Green was 15 at the time of the killing, but prosecutors say that due to the seriousness of the crime, green should be tried as an adult. Judge Elizabeth Doyle moved Green’s case to juvenile court in 2020.
