The Altoona Mirror reports that Kevin Siehl III will continue the lawsuit brought by his father Kevin, after he was released from a life sentence. The elder Siehl was convicted for the 1991 stabbing death of his wife Christine in her apartment, Siehl was arrested, tried and convicted. But a judge later ruled that evidence used against Siehl at his trial was tainted and ordered him released. The suit is against the prosecutors and police who brought him to trial. Siehl was accused of stabbing his wife some 20 times and leaving her body in a shower. After the judges ruling, the state attorney general declined to prosecute Siehl a second time. The suit claims that because Siehl was wrongfully imprisoned, that led to his poor health and ultimately his death.
