The Associated Press reports that Kane was sent to a rehab facility after she plead guilty to a probation violation. Kane was on probation after serving 8 months in jail for leaking grand jury testimony while she was AG and then leaked that information to the press, and lied about doing so. Kane was arrested back in march for drunken driving, and was back in court facing the same judge who presided over her trial. Kane was sent to an undisclosed facility for treatment. Kane will, now be on probation until late 2025. She was the first woman elected to be Attorney General in Pennsylvania
