The police report indicates that troopers arrested 52 year old Stephen Walter after they reportedly contacted Walter to make a purchase. State police did report that Walter had apparently sold meth on 3 other occasions back in April, but did not make an arrest. Walter and a trooper arranged a meeting in Meyersdale on Monday. After driving around for a short time, a man approached their car and handed them a package that contained the meth. Walter was informed that he was with state police and arrested. He is charged with felony possession with intent to deliver.
