Apollo Area Historical Society is hosting Nellie Bly’s Birthday Party on Saturday, May 2nd at 1:30pm.  Nancy Johnson from the Pittsburgh Walk of Fame will host the Birthday Party for Nellie Bly, the intrepid reporter who challenged Phileas Fogg’s record for going around the world in 80 days.  The public is invited and birthday cake will follow the program in the WCTU Building, 317 North 2nd Street in Apollo.  For more information, call 724-478-2899 or email apollopahistory@gmail.com.
