Armstrong County Historical Museum invites the Community to a Festive Christmas Open House. This two-day event will take place on Saturday, November 30th from 12 noon to 4 PM and Sunday, December 1st from 1 PM to 4 PM at 300 North McKean Street in Kittanning. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Come explore the beautifully decorated McCain House and Log Cabin, open for holiday tours throughout the event. Both days feature light refreshments and festive live entertainment to set the holiday mood. On Saturday, enjoy the soothing sounds of live dulcimer music, and on Sunday, experience the charm of live guitar and harp music by The McCarney Minstrels. Adding a touch of history, members of the 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Living History Family will join the Museum on Sunday, dressed in Civil War attire and ready to share stories from the past.
