The Armstrong County Herb Group Monthly meeting is tonight, 6pm at the Cadogan Township Hall on First Avenue in Cadogan.  January’s program will be on “The Herb of the Year.”  Dr. Heather Setzenfand will be presenting the program “The 12 Healthy Benefits of Tumeric.”  Some examples of uses are for inflamation, antioxident uses and more.  Everyone attending will have the opportunity to make a tumeric salve.  If you’d like to go, call 724-763-9773 and leave your name, phone number and the number attending.  There is a $10 donation if making the salve.  It’s the Amstrong County Herb Groups 40th Anniversary year and the group will hold monthly meetings and herbal programs on the second Wednesday of each month.
