Celebrate the Holiday Season at the Armstrong County Historical Society!  Join them for their annual Christmas Open House at the McCain House Museum, with festive decorations, light refreshments, live music, and heartwarming holiday spirit!  It’s Saturday, November 29th from noon–4 PM With Live Dulcimer Music.  It’s also on Sunday, November 30th from 1–4 PM With Live Guitar and Violin Music  Also on the 30th, Members of the 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Living History Family will also be on-site in authentic Civil War period attire!  It’s the Grand Opening of the Jim & Ann Oakes Carriage House, featuring the exhibit:  “Fantastic Plastic Vintage Christmas” — a nostalgic showcase of holiday treasures from the 1940s through the 1970s.  The Log Cabin will also be open and decorated for the holidays.  Free Admission and Free Parking on Vine Street, North McKean Street, and behind the museum via North Grant Avenue.  The address is 300 North McKean Street in Kittanning.  For more information, call 724-548-5707.
