The Armstrong County Historical Society will bring history to life with their Civil War Days Living History Encampment.  It will be on Friday, May 9th from 6 to 8pm and Saturday, May 10th from 10am to 8pm.  Don’t miss this event with the 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Living History Family and the 11th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Reeneactors, plus 2 guest speakers- Michael Kraus of Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh and Evan Portman of Emerging Civil War and American Battlefield Trust.  Plus there will be live music, museum and log cabin tours, and more!  Rain or shine, free and open to the public!  Armstrong County Historical Museum & Genealogical Society is located at 300 North McKean Street in Kittanning.
