The Connections of Armstrong County 4th Annual 5K Race is coming up Saturday, May 17th from 10 to 2pm at the south end of River Front Park in Kittanning.  Connections helps people in need in our community.  It’s a volunteer run and donation based organization and this race is the biggest fundraiser of the year.  This “race” is the race for people who don’t want to wake up early, who would only run if something is chasing them, and who would just like to have a silly good time.  With your registration this year you will be able to play mini golf (Steel City Mobile Mini Golf) and can pay an extra small fee for the petting zoo.  There will be local non profits, vendors and food vendors set up.  Registration starts at 10 and the race is at 10:30 with events going on in the park until 2.  For more information, call 724-427-5222 or email connectionsarmco@gmail.com.
