Kittanning Elks Lodge #203 Annual Flag Day Ceremony is Friday, June 13th at 6:30pm.  It will be held on North Water Street and Kittanning Park directly in front of the Elks Lodge.  The ceremony will be honoring Veterans from Mechling/Shakley Veterans Center in Cowansville.  Transportation to and from the event is donated by AJ Myers Bus Company.  The Flag Day Program will be presented by the current Officers of the Lodge.  Kittanning Hose Company #6 has volunteered to display the flags from their ladder truck.  The all volunteer Kittanning Community Band will play several patriotic musical selections.  Bring your families and friends and a lawn chair or blanket to sit in the park and listen to some great music and to learn some history of the American Flag.  For more information, call 724-543-2031.
