Race in Railroad City: Celebrating Black History will be an educational read-in Thursday, February 17th at the Railroader’s Memorial Museum in Altoona, presented by the Blair County African American Project and the Museum. Local historians and community members will recite true stories of brave individuals who overcame oppression and promoted diversity. The cost is $25, and it benefits the Blair County African American Heritage Festival. Railroad City Brewing Company will serve beverages (included with admission). Masks are required.
