The Altoona Mirror reports that the numbers went for the favorites heading into yesterday vote. In the senate race, John Fetterman had a strong showing with a nearly 3000 vote margin over Connor Lamb, while Dr. Oz and Dave McCormick outpaced Kathy Barnette to lead the GOP race which is to close to call Doug Mastriano ran away with the Blair County vote, with Bill McSwain finishing second in the county. Jim Gregory had a 6200 vote margin over Trish Haight in Blair County. Both Judy Ward 30th district state senator and 79th District representative Lou Schmitt ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Ward will face Democrat Carol Taylor in November.
