The Altoona Mirror reports that Judge Wade Kagarise sentenced 18 year old Joshua Riggleman to 1-5 years for stabbing a relative last year. Riggleman was arrested after the incident at his residence on Washington avenue in Tyrone. Riggleman pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for stabbing his victim with a kitchen knife during a fight. The victim was taken to UPMC Altoona for treatment. Riggleman has been in jail since his arrest last may, and could receive credit for time served, and might be released from the county lockup pending the conclusion of his case.
