Police report that 31 year old Chelsea Cooley of Everett is charged with the death of her 3 year old son over the memorial day weekend. Hospital reports indicate the child died from strangulation after he reportedly choked on baby wipes. The child was taken to UPMC Bedford before being flown to Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh where he died Sunday afternoon. An autopsy revealed that the child had suffered substantial bruising all over his body. Cooley is charged with homicide, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She was arraigned last night and placed in the Bedford County prison.
