According to the report by channel 10, deputies spotted 33 year old Jeffrey Burgmeier III going into a fast food restaurant in Altoona Monday afternoon. Burgmeier ignored commands by deputies to stop walking and entered the building. Once inside, Burgmeier began yelling that he hated people and wanted the deputies to die. Burgmeier continue to tussle with deputies who had to physically restrain him. He is also accused of tearing a radio microphone from the vest of one of the deputies. They found syringes, foil and other drug paraphenalia inside a backpack Burgmeier was carrying. He is charged with resisting arrest, fleeing to avoid apprehension, giving false identification and possession of drug paraphenalia
