Murder investigation closed

D.A. Pete Weeks said the county has officially closed the investigation into the death of Tyler Slippey on November 22,2020. Weeks thanked the state police, Hollidaysburg Boro, Altoona Police, several Cambria County law enforcement agencies and the Attorney Generals office. Details stated that Slippey died from 4 stab wounds in his Hollidaysburg apartment. Slippy also had defensive wounds to his hands, indicating he fought with his attacker. That person was identified as Kenneth Kim. Blood at the scene was matche3d to Kim’s DNA. It was reported that Slippy and Kim had a feud over a women that Slippy had been involved with, leading to the homicide. Kim committed suicide in Ebensburg before police could take him into custody
