An Associated Press report states that charges against Jayana Webb were reintroduced last Wednesday, after they were dismissed more than a month ago. Webb is accused of hitting the troopers with her car as they were trying to help a man who was walking along Interstate 95 on March 21st. The police report says that Webb was driving at a high rate of speed when she hit the three men, killing them all. Attorney Michael Walker said he is upset over the judge’s ruling, and this it has hurt Webb’s family. Bail for Webb was set at $600,000 and she is free, after a judge denied the prosecutions motion to deny her bail.
