According to a WTAJ report, the number of new Covid cases has risen in Centre, Cambria and Huntingdon counties. These 3 counties have been elevated to the high category, up from medium over the past 4 months. The state also shows a case rate of 132 cases per 100,000 residents. Counties still in the medium range include Blair, Bedford, Clearfield and Somerset in our region. The CDC recommends that counties with high category status should invoke indoor mask requirements and when using public transportation.
