Television news reports indicate that someone left a dead dog at the door of the Central PA Humane Society in greenwood sometime Wednesday night. The staff had gone home for the night when someone dropped the dog off around 10:15. Police say they do have video information regarding a car and they are asking that person to come forward. A statement from the shelter says that the dog may have been hit by a car, after it possibly escaped from the shelter after it was dropped off as a stray. Officials are asking the person who dropped off the dog to contact them by calling 814 942-5402 or on Facebook.
