That is the question, and the answer is maybe. WTAJ reports that the Pa gaming control board has finally given approval for a mini casino license to be granted to the SC Gaming OPCO, LLC based in State College under the Bally Corporation. SC Gaming has been in a legal tug o war with Staduim Casino RE LLC, who has been challenging SC Gaming’s application. The casino, if it ever comes to pass, is slated to be housed inside the Nittany Mall. The license will not be granted until all legal challenges and appeals are used up. The casino could take up to a year to build, at a projected cost of $35 million, and would employ 350 people.
