WJAC reported that students at Southern Huntingdon High School held a dance marathon last week to raise funds to help families in need. One student said that the community gave help to her family when she was younger and now this is her way of paying it back. The students raised some $110,000 in conjunction with area businesses to help families with medical expenses and other financial problems they may be having. All totaled, the student run fund raiser has raised over $500,000 in 9 years.
