In a published report, the full senate has confirmed Michelle Henry to be the new attorney general, and for major Christopher Paris as the new commander of the state police force. Henry already stated she will finish the term of Josh Shapiro which will be for two years, but will not run for office again. Paris was elevated from his most recent position as commander of area 111 in northeast Pennsylvania. Paris has been a state trooper since 1999, and is also an attorney. Both will take their new positions immediately.
