A report by WJAC indicates that officials of the Greater Johnstown School District alerted police about a potential threat made against an elementary school by a cyber student. The report says that the alleged threat was made by a student during a Facetime call with another student. Johnstown police went to the student’s home and confiscated a gun that reportedly belongs to the students mother. Both have been charged in the case. Superintendent D. Amy Arcurio said that there is no danger to the community or students, but additional police security will be on hand at the school.
