WTAJ reported that attorney Michael Cohen was charged yesterday with tampering with legal documents in a custody case. Cohen is accused of forging a judges signature on a court document that would have granted the mother of a child custody over the Christmas holiday last year. Cohen accepted $10,000 to represent the woman, but later told investigators from the attorney general’s office the he was fed up with the case, and told the mother what she wanted to hear. He was charged with tampering with evidence, forgery and obstruction. He is free on $75,000 bail. Cohen is facing charges in another case where he is accused of presenting misdated documents concerning a PFA violation.
