An Altoona man who livestreamed an hours-long standoff with police last week, was arraigned yesterday. He’s 45 year old Al Mu Min Yusef Diaz who has been charged with numerous counts including terroristic threats, simple assault, flight to avoid apprehension, among others. The charges stem from a domestic violence incident that occurred in Altoona last Wednesday when his ex-wife called police telling them that Diaz was “acting crazy” the night before, and  she was fearful for her life. Reportedly Diaz did threaten to kill her. The standoff lasted nearly 3 hours before Diaz finally surrendered. A search of his home found three handguns, counterfeit money, and marijuana. After the standoff ended Diaz was taken to UPMC Altoona where he was released yesterday and immediately taken to the Blair County Prison.  Bail has been set at $200,000.  His preliminary hearing has been set for May 1st.
