An Altoona man and woman who had active warrants and were found in possession of drugs, were arrested yesterday, after being pulled over by Altoona Police. Arrested were 33 year old Christopher Bennett and 30 year old Miranda Confer. Police were conducting a traffic stop yesterday afternoon when the two were pulled over for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle resulted in meth, heroin, fentanyl and various drug paraphernalia being found inside. Both have been charged with three felony counts of drug possession with the intent to sell. They are currently in the Blair County Prison awaiting arraignment.
