An Altoona man, employed as a school bus aide, has been charged with having sexual contact with a 5-year-old student. According to Altoona Police, 28-year-old Brandon Shultz was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation into alleged physical contact with the child. He is reported to have told authorities he did so, to make her happy, because she was upset. He has been charged with unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, and indecent assault of someone under the age of 13. Shultz has been placed in the Blair County Prison, where bail has been set at $250,000. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 21st.
