Emergency officials in Cambria County report that firefighters from the Johnstown area responded to a two-alarm building fire Tuesday night near the Oakhurst Homes neighborhood.
Crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Wynn Street around 11 p.m. Tuesday to battle the blaze. Firefighters remained on the scene for approximately three hours as they worked diligently to bring the fire under control.
All building residents were safely evacuated, including a dog that received treatment for smoke inhalation. According to 911 officials, no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
