The annual Blair County Spring Food Drive, which took place last week at Sam’s Club in Altoona, was a huge success. According to Denise Stone, who heads up the drive, during this year’s spring drive nearly 39,000 meals were donated, which filled up six truck-loads. Denise further added that over the next two weeks the group will be shopping for more food for the many non-profits they help, thanks to the generous donations of gift cards and money. The team at the Blair County Food Drive thanks the community for once again giving so generously to this cause. Denise said, “We are blessed by your big hearts.”
