Nanty Glo Borough has secured a state grant of over 3-hundred thousand dollars, facilitated by Rep. Frank Burns of Cambria County, to upgrade its flood-control levee system and maintain 17 drainage pipes. Following a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers inspection, the funding will address mandatory repairs, including dredging, pipe cleaning, and structural improvements to protect the borough from flooding.
