Pennsylvania State Police have arrested 43-year-old Bedford resident Joshua Mitchell, accused of exchanging sexual messages and images with a 17-year-old girl via the Discord platform. The investigation, which began last October, was initiated after a teenage witness discovered the messages while gaming with Mitchell. Mitchell has been charged with a dozen counts related to felony child sex abuse material and other related counts. He as been placed in the Bedford County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 20th.
